The workshop presents practical and applied strategies for treating: PTSD: empirically validated psychotherapies focusing on processing of traumatic experiences, reducing nightmares, specific affect management techniques, psychopharmacology. Lessons learned post 9-11 in acute crisis management and the “resiliency model”; treatment of chronic and complicated cases of PTSD.
